The younger brother of UFC welterweight Nick Diaz, Nate Diaz has made just one appearance since the start of 2014, mainly because of a contract dispute.

The UFC actually announced a fight between Diaz and welterweight Matt Brownearlier this year, but it fell through when Diaz publicly stated the promotion hadn't contacted him regarding the matchup. Diaz is 1-3 in his past four fights.

Johnson (16-9) is coming off a controversial split-decision loss to Beneil Dariushearlier this month. The loss snapped a four-fight winning streak for Johnson, even though most observers felt he won the three-round bout.

ESPN.com ranks Johnson the No. 10 lightweight in the world.

A lightweight title fight between Dos Anjos (24-7) and Donald Cerrone (28-6) will headline the UFC Fight Night event.
